Isaiah was one of the greatest prophets who ministered during the reigns of four kings of Judah. His prophecies about the coming Messiah are the most detailed in the Old Testament.

"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!""

Significance

Isaiah prophesied extensively about the coming Messiah, including His virgin birth, suffering, death, and kingdom. His prophecies about Jesus are quoted more in the New Testament than any other prophet.
