The Bible Guide

Ask anything about the Bible

Warm, short answers that point you back to Scripture, with every verse they name one tap from the reader. Pick a question to see how the guide answers.

These answers are the examples written into the app to show its guide how to answer. In the app, every answer is written on your iPhone.

Bible GuidePrivate: answered on your iPhone

I feel anxious and alone today.

I’m sorry you’re carrying that today. You are not as alone as it feels. Scripture invites you to cast all your anxiety on God because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7), and Jesus promised his peace to everyone who comes to him (John 14:27). If it helps, you could pray: “God, steady my heart and remind me that you are near.”

1 Peter 5:7John 14:27

What the Bible Guide does

  • Short, warm answersA few sentences in plain words, like a friend who knows the Bible well, not an encyclopedia.
  • It names its versesWhen an answer draws on Scripture, it names the verses, and one tap opens them in the reader so you can read them in context.
  • Answered on your iPhoneAnswers are written on the device, so your chats are never sent to us. Your conversation is kept on your iPhone.
  • Type or speakAsk by typing or by voice, and have each answer read aloud if you like.
  • Help to prayToday’s prayer step opens the Bible Guide with "Help me pray about my day", for when the words are hard to find.
  • In your languageIt answers in the app’s language: English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Russian or Arabic.

Use it as a study help

The Bible Guide is there for questions about the Bible and faith; ask it about something else and it says kindly that this is what it is for. It does not replace reading the Bible, your church or your pastor, and like any AI it can be wrong. Treat each answer as a starting point and read the verses it names in their chapter.

Frequently asked

Is the Bible Guide a person?

No. It is an AI that runs on your iPhone. It is there to help you read and understand the Bible, not to replace your church, your pastor or your own reading of Scripture.

Can it get things wrong?

Yes. Even a careful AI can be wrong. Read the verses it names in their chapter, and bring the big questions to your pastor or a Christian you trust.

Are my chats private?

The Bible Guide writes its answers on your iPhone, so what you ask is never sent to us, and the conversation is kept on your phone.

Which iPhones can use it?

iPhones and iPads with iOS 26 or later. On an iPhone with Apple Intelligence, it uses Apple’s built-in model in the languages that model speaks; otherwise Faithero downloads its own model once, about 880 MB, and keeps a question you ask meanwhile until it can answer.

What if I am hurting?

Ask anyway; it answers gently and points to Scripture. If you write that you want to die or to hurt yourself, the app shows a helpline card. In the US and Canada you can call or text 988 at any time.

How much does it cost?

The Bible Guide is part of Faithero, a paid app. It starts with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan; after that, a yearly, monthly or weekly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase.
